Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UNITAR (United Nations Institute for Training and Research) formed a dynamic partnership on May 24, 2024. This strategic collaboration intends to facilitate the interchange of experience, resources, and assistance in the training and research fields.
Under the MoU, CPJ and UNITAR will actively promote each other’s work, thereby increasing their impact on peace and justice. The signing ceremony brought together Evartise Karambizi, Director of the Division of Peace at UNITAR, and Manzoor Hasan, OBE, Executive Director of CPJ, symbolising their commitment to collaboration and shared goals.
By leveraging their collective skills, CPJ and UNITAR hope to develop training programs, conduct effective research, and strengthen capacity-building activities. This collaboration is a step toward strengthening global peace and justice by using the synergies of two prestigious organizations. During this event, various personnel from CPJ and UNITAR were present.
