Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), Brac University is a multi-disciplinary academic institute of BRAC University, which promotes global peace and social justice through quality education, research, training and advocacy. CPJ has been involved in multi-disciplinary research in its three thematic areas: Peace and fragility, Social justice, and Open society in collaboration with academic institutions and development agencies. CPJ’s research employs both quantitative and qualitative research methods with s special focus on the youth, gender and population living in the margin and fragile situation. The ultimate aim of CPJ’s work is to strengthen evidence-based policy advocacy and to create a bridge between academics and practice.
In partnership with The Asia Foundation, CPJ conducts research under the X-Border Local Research Network, a research consortium aimed at developing a better understanding of the causes and implications of conflict in the border areas of north-east Africa, the Middle East and Asia. The Research Associate is expected to carry out research and programme activities with close support from senior staff.
Under this research, CPJ is looking for a Research Associate for its X-Border Local Research Network. This is a 12-month position for Bangladesh nationals.
