The first lecture will be delivered by Professor Maja Janmyr on “International Refugee Law beyond States Parties to the 1951 Refugee Convention”. Dr Janmyr is a Professor of International Migration Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo (UiO), and a Research Associate at the Refugee Studies Centre of the University of Oxford.

The second lecture will be delivered by Dr M Sanjeeb Hossain on “The Rohingya Refugee Situation in Bangladesh – Looking to the Past to Envision a Better Future.” Dr Hossain is working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Law, University of Oslo, and a Research Fellow at the Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), BRAC University.
