Myanmar is in turmoil, Rohingya are displaced, Myanmar Military (Tatmadaw) seized power and consequently, voluntary repatriation of Rohingya who fled the republic due to persecution has been marred with uncertainty. 3 and half years have passed since the refugee influx in 2017. Perspectives seem to be getting complex. This reality brings new challenges to the crisis as if adding insult to injury. In this unstable time, how are Rohingya youth thinking about their future? To combat the crisis, cross-sector holistic and cohesive responses are required where youth have a key role in promoting inclusion, integration and social cohesion in the short, medium and long term. CPJ invites you to hear directly from Rohingya camp residents working closely on relief efforts.
Centre for Peace and Justice of Brac University is humbly inviting you to join the Camp Voices Webinar Series-3: “Strengths and Aspiration of Rohingya Refugees”. The discussion will address key issues related to the role of youth for peacebuilding, social cohesion, livelihood and education for Rohingya children and girls. The purpose of this online event is to generate ideas, share opinions and perspectives with the hope of finding a solution to the Rohingya humanitarian crisis in Cox’s Bazar.
