We are deeply saddened by the sudden death of Riedwan Habibur Rahman (Auritro), Research Associate, Centre for Peace and Justice, Brac University. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajeun. His namaz e Janaja will be held today baad Asar in Char Kamalapur, Faridpur Sadar.

Riedwan was an alumnus of BRAC University. He completed his undergraduate degree from BRAC University in 2018, where he received a Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) degree in Anthropology. He has completed a Master of Development Studies (MDS) from BRAC Institute of Governance and Development, BRAC University. He was holding an offer to pursue MA in Anthropology of food from SOAS from September this year.

Riedwan joined CPJ as an intern in 2018. At the time of his sudden demise Riedwan was working as a Research Associate. He was a dedicated and hardworking young man. 

We mourn his untimely passing and seek your prayers for his departed soul.
