Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), BRAC University in collaboration with BLLD (BRAC Learning and Leadership development) organised a ToT on PSEA & Safeguarding for the staff of RSU team members in Cox`s Bazar under its’ ‘Strengthening Social Cohesion and Resilience in Cox’s Bazar by Engaging Rohingya Refugee and Host Community. project’ A day-long training was held on October 13, 2021, at a hotel in Cox`s Bazar.
The overall purpose of the training was to ensure safety culture and a healthy environment among staff, partners, and volunteers from both the Rohingya and host community. A mixed training methodology was followed throughout the training comprising of interactive discussions, experience sharing, question-answers, sharing of case studies, group works, and presentations by the participants.
During the training, the facilitator mentioned different reporting channels like the govt. helpline numbers such as “999” & “109”; and the procedure to make a complaint to the official decorum by calling BRAC helpline 01730346883/01729071546 or sending an e-mail to email@example.com or communicating with safeguarding Focal Persons.
