Multi-disciplinary Research
Despite impressive and steady economic growth in Asia income inequality has grown over the last decade. The benefits of economic development have been overshadowed by inequalities. The challenge is to promote inclusive societies. CPJ’s objective is to conduct rigorous research from a multi-disciplinary approach by establishing an extensive research network of academics and researchers. CPJ’s research will be clustered under three thematic areas: peace and fragility, social justice, and open society. They include cross-cutting themes such as refugee and statelessness, gender inequality and discrimination, social cohesion, faith and religion, youth, and given global pandemic, focusing on COVID-19. CPJ produces research reports as well as longitudinal studies as part of on-going applied research and programmatic interventions.
